E-Content, Neutralisation

Introduction A  neutralization reaction can be defined as  a chemical reaction in which an acid and base quantitatively react together to form a salt and water as products. In a neutralization reaction, there is a combination of H +   ions and OH –   ions which form water. A neutralisation reaction is generally an  acid- base  neutralization reaction. Objectives 1.The learner should be able to explain what is neutralisation reaction 2.The learner should be able illustrate neutralisation with daily life examples 3.Learner sholud be able to justify neutralisation reaction. 4.Learner should be able to find out daily life applications of neutralisation reaction.
